melted spark plug wire

melted spark plug wire
I have a 1994 civic coupe with a D15B7. I got a hole in the radiator and the engine overheated. now the part of the spark plug wire that goes down into the head and plugs onto the spark plug melted. the spark plug is now surrounded by plastic, that has been melted and hardened. ive tried sticking a flat screw driver down in there and breaking it up into little pieces, then vacuuming it out. that got the bulk of it. But, im not able to get the socket down in there to get the spark plug out, nor can i get a new plug wire on there. please help. any and all advice is welcome.
I managed to get most of the cylinder 2 wire out... heres what it looked like.

Re: melted spark plug wire
For what its worth, I saw this happen at an autocross event once (not to a honda) and the guy had the good idea to blow torch the spark plug ratchet till it was red-hot, then he stuck it down the tube and held pressure on it so that it melted the rubber and slid down. He got down far enough to get a grip and pull the plug. There may be a better/easy way to do it though...
