Measurement of tilt on a z6/y8/y7 head
I posted this in the general tech section and no one could help so I'm trying here.
I'm to the point on my project where I need to weld in my mount brackets. Problem is I don't know what the stock tilt on a D16Z6 is. If anyone has a z6/y8/y7 head mounted in their car and a few minutes, could you take a measurement for me? Seems the easiest way is to get a level on the VC and get a distance to a point like in the pic below. Just let me know where you measured from and the distance so I can duplicate it. Thanks!

Re: Measurement of tilt on a z6/y8/y7 head
useing a Level ..sorry but wont work
due to the car + ground + suspention it will differ with every car and where n how it sits
if this is going in a civic and if your trying to replace the side engine mounts
as what i belive your going to weld in
bolt in the rear mount and the torque mounts and use the engine crane to take the weight of it as you will then see where then engine should sit and where to position the other mounts that need welding
