max power for an Apexi WS catback?
hi guys, I've been reading that the Apexi WS is too restrictive for high-end NA setups. My question is, in your opinion or experience, how much power can the Apexi WS handle before it is limiting the entire setup?

Re: max power for an Apexi WS catback? (jgop_151)
i have an 8lb flywheel on my b16a in my EK, And last week I put on a WORLD sPORT rear section instead of my N1 I used to have. I certianly have noticed many differences.
its so fuggin quiet, it sounds awesome deeper, not buzzy or ricey or kazzoooo like
more linear smoother power all the way through, although there isnt that much of a kick @vtec.
High end peaky HP was lost but traded in for very very slight increase in torquey bottom/midrange. more of a stock feel
which is excactly what is was designed to do.
the reasons i got rid of my N1 was because, it was too attractigb to cops, so freakin loud, scraped, but looked good doing it, loud as hell, ricey sounding, but agressive in a sexy vtec way, and dirtied my bumper from the rich mugen program i am running. I think that for high end cams liek jun or toda, where power is way up there, an N1 is perfect because if u are track circuit highway driving then u need high end power.
for street driving, instead of killing the persons ears in the car next to you, which is another bad thing, all the looks i got from other drivers like WTF is wrong with your broke looking exhaust?
I love it, my car feels sporty stock, but still pertforms great, smooth dependable nice soudnign power is better thabn ricey loud all high end power IMHO
