Default Manual rack conversion EK

Hey guys, quick question. Im able to get a manual rack from an ek cx to install into my ek which has p/s. Will i need the cx sub frame like you require if your doing the p/s to manual on the eg's? or on ek's the rack will just bolt up to the subframe??

thanks!

I'm also looking for this answer. In the mean time, here's an interesting thread about converting power to manual: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=184202

You should get the subframe with it.It will make the install easier.

no, but you'll need the bracket from the manual rack as the PS bracket is slightly larger

Why are you replacing the rack? Why not just do a delete kit? The 96-00 power steering rack is shorter stop to stop, and gives more steering response (less turns of the wheel for more turn of the car).
