Default make your steelies shine



anyone know how to keep your steelies shine longer? heres mine.. only lasts a couple of days.. anyone else have a better brand they use to keep steelies shine like new?

i use to use regular tire foam and it lasted for weeks!

yeah get some rims so you wouldnt have to roll steelies....j/p......dont use anything with oily substances....check the labels on the back...oil tends to collect dust faster.

i know this may sound stupid.. but wouldnt that harm the tire mixing chemicals?

i spray painted my steelies with 3 coats flat black and 2 coats clearcoat and they shine 24/7 :D

no.Just make sure to ride the brakes a lil bit, cause there will be oil tire shine all over it..

i usually just spray on the cloth instead of the rims itself.. i just dont want it to start cracking up if i mix the wrong chemicals

I use Armor All Tire Foam. Works great. Lasts for about a week. Toothbruth the wheel with soap and water. Spray Tire Foam over the wheel/tire, and I immediately wipe the wheel with a paper towel. I hate people who don't clean their steelies, drives me crazy.

trust me i did it to my steelies back in like 2002.. dont use a rag or anything, just spray the crap out of the rims and tires... i will see if i can find a pic of it

When I had mine, I just used regular tire cleaner stuff I found in my garage. Stayed shinny for weeks.
