Icon2 Main Relay Issue?

The fuel pump won't prime. I checked the fuses and grounds, they're all good. I checked to see if it was getting any voltage, and it wasn't. I tested the main relay for continuity, its fine. I jumpered the 5 and 7 ports in the main relay plug, still no voltage. I put a multimeter up to the main relay plug and it isn't getting any voltage at all. Any ideas?

Double check 15A hood fuse 31 and dash fuse 24. The FAQs stick has diagrams to help locate those fuses if you are unsure.

They're fine. Multimeter shows no resistance.

Dash fuse 24 is reading 12V, and fuse 31 is reading none.

There are two metal test tabs at the top of each fuse. Check for voltage to body ground at BOTH tabs individually. Does one of the tabs of installed fuse 31 have voltage?

With the key in ON(II), do both tabs of fuse 24 have voltage?

On fuse 31 both tabs have voltage to ground, but when you put a probe on both tabs there is no voltage.

On fuse 24, there is voltage to ground on the tab that is closest to the floor, but none on the one that is closest to the top.

Fuse 31 is fine. Fuse 24 is blown.

Now that its working its been kind of lagging. It takes a while for the fuel pump to kick on once I turn the key ON. Its not much of a problem, more annoying than anything, but sometimes it takes anywhere from 2-5 minutes. Any ideas?

Start by cleaning/sanding and tightening the G101 ground wire attached to the thermostat housing.

Re-soldered it. It seems to have done the trick. It still takes a few seconds, but seconds beats minutes, and its not like I was going to use it as a getaway car any time soon.
