Try to get some sort of guarantee from them in writing. Make it something that says if you are not satisfied with the results they have to do it again for free. Then go for it!

Thats a good idea. I had mine done by macco and I absolutely hate my paint job. There was overspray everywhere and the paint was uneven. But it's macco and you get what you pay for. Try to get some kind of guarantee in writing. Also by the time i got my car back there was a three inch scratch on the back left of the car. They didnt even bother to explain it. I was pretty aggravated to say the least.

because you get what you pay for.

It's cheap because they don't spend the time to push out a quality job. Some people simply don't care. If you had a beater you smashed up a bit would you rather pay $2500 to have it fixed perfect or $250 to have it fixed good enough to keep it on the road. That's why they stay in business.

Can also depend on the location and whether you know the people there. Friend got a cheap paint job from them and it was actually really good for like 300-400 bucks.

Of course, hes still kinda the exception to the rule. Almost every other job I've seen from them is trashy in some way.

I love how tons of n00bs talk **** on Maaco.

Youre paying for a $400 paint job, not a $4000 paint job.
