Default ls vtak

for all the vtec fans i have come from the ef nonvtec turbo setup soo..

i don't know much about that but i do know honda.. so as most people do ls/vtec swaps they do it incorrectly..

yeh they can put the the head on a ls motor..

okk wheres your compression..

so what I am doing is taking the ls b18b block and my b16a crank/pistons/and rods and transferring them to the ls block so you keep your compression..

as for the torque..

its the block and my b16a head w/ sk2 stg 1 cams dual springs and titanium retainers..

apr head studs will be perfect which i also have..

but the key to build a nasty *** lsvtec swap is having a bottom end a top end..

this is what im doing tell me your suggestions

If youre de-stroking the ls, using a b16 internals...whats the point?

Because having less stroke makes you fly with the ladies.

LOL!!!

You don't need to transfer ALL the internals from a B16 to an LS block. ITR and B16 pistons fit onto LS rods. You will still be 1.8 and you will still have 11:1 compression at the minimum depending on what pistons you go with.

Making fun of people who can't make LS/VTECs correctly when you can't either

Booyah. Long strokes and lots of them

The B16 is the two-pump-chump of the Honda man-stable.

ha-ha do you think your car will run with 5.53:1 compression?

you would have more compression if you left the bottom end stock.

nice try though
i think you should do a little research....

Hey it's a really nice setup if you ever get it right dude! If you do it right. I would just throw a GSR in that bitch and be done with it! I love my GSR's but you can't go wrong tryin to build a ls-vtec!

Don't get me wrong yea they're reliable but if you dont build it right it wont last long at all. a friend of mine had one built and the place where he had it built did a poor job two times they rebuilt it and the same thing all over agin. lost more money then I would spend on it. All im tryin to say is build it right and it will last.

I'm surprised nobody checked to see what comp this would yield.

So I did....

and...

5.53

Oh, my bad, somebody already said that, I thought they were just kidding with numbers that low...

Okay, so to OP:
You will have a 5.53:1 compression ratio.

My d-series has a 9.14 I believe...that means my stock D-series will rape u with ur LS/VTEC w/ full I/H/E (if ur car even starts).

lol, I think the goal is to use an LS/VTEC w/ a turbo and boost the **** outta it, and still won't need to use above 87 octane gas .

Lmao, naw, he's gonna dump it all on custom forged rods and run 45lbs of boost and due it in high 14's, low 15's. He wants to set a PSI record, DUH.

(seriously, what do u expect from somebody who spells VTEC "vtak")

*cough cough ricer cough cough*

What a ricer does:
Lowers CR to 5.53 making the car not drivable without forced induction.

I think he'll need nitrous just to start up on a cold day .
