I don't have ls turbo sol, but ls turbo's in general are very, very fun cars. Take your time, do it right research is KEY, especially if you plan on doing all the work yourself. I'd suggest a kit if you are a FI noob. OH, and lose those 17's

Well, to each his own, but they will slow you down on the track. That may or may not be a concern of yours.....
edit: i also think that 17's are just too big for sol's.

Re: (DELshow)
everybody hates on the 17's.....i just don't get it. It's hard to get traction with turbo's and 17's help a lot. Keep the 17's, they look good with a body kit. They just look shitty on honda's when they don't have body kits also, that what most of these guys are probably picturing when they think of big rims.

personally i woudl go 16 max. i'm running 15's though. thats my ideal size. you can get 15x7 if traction is what you need. width not over all wheel diameter. but again, to each his own. i think the 17s are just too large for the sol. and would make it all jacked up looing. if you lower it you will need some serious camber to tuck it under the fenders. thats just me though. if you like yoru car then by all means leave it be. as long as it makes you happy everyday you drive it.

Re: (whoDAT)
yeah, if you get 17's then you're going to need a camber kit for the front and coilovers. My camber was really bad, i could spin the tires in 4th on my stock motor ! The rear camber can be fixed by using washers but the front def. needs the camber kit for sure. I'll post a few pics of mine this evening, it's snowing out right now
BTW- the reason i say 17's help reduce wheel spin is b/c it's takes more power to get them moving since they're so damn heavy. turbo launches at the track are very hard and having the extra heavy wheels really help.
