lowering springs question..

Re: lowering springs question..
I know from first hand too that you get what you pay for XD....you don't have to get $1000 coil-overs to get a good ride but you do have to dish a little cash.
First you are gonna want to measure from the highest point of your wheel well all the way down to where you want that poin to be. Wright down the measurements and look at all the springs that lower it that much.
I have H&R springs on mine and paid $140. I am highly impressed with the ride I love them!

Re: lowering springs question..
well i want my wheels to be tucked or if not tucked maybe close to being tucked...i heard H&R springs give you a nice ride height and they dont make your car bounce

Re: lowering springs question..
If i had pics I would show you mine. They don't bounce at all. The ONLY thing I am having troubles with is both my front and rear drivers side are lower than the passengers side...(not noticeable unless i point it out to you though). I have even swaped the struts from left to right and it's still lower on the left side. But over all for the money I have been very pleased with them.

Hey dont lower it the most you can. You should just get a decent drop. I lowered my 2.5 and its a pain in the *** to get around. To low to get over big bumps and i dont know what im going to do when the snow comes.

something u might try is ebay lowering coilovers. yes, i know, u get what u pay for. I got these for my del sol and it gave it a decent drop that u can adjust for winter. yes, they dont ride that great but they r cheap so maybe u could get those, see where you'd like ur car to sit, and buy a nice set of springs or coils. just a suggestion.. good luck!
p.s. I have a set of teins laying around to get rid of my ebays in case u guys were wondering what I was doing runnin around with egay coils

Re: lowering springs question..
2.5 inches, you should have no problem getting around, my car is lower, and i still get around just fine, and people that live in tacoma know how crappy the rods can be,
you just have to take things slow, and go sideways, if you dont want to scrape.
HR are great, buddy has them and he tucks,
