Default lowering springs: integra spring rates are lower than civic spring rates???

someone told me that if i get integra spring rates for my EK it will sit slighlty lower than civic spring rates. is this true?

example: H & R sport springs

part no.

51865 for civics 96-00
51865-2 for civic si 99-00
50145 for integra non RRRRR 94-01

they seem to have different part numbers so i assume they are are specifically made instead of being a "92-00 civic and 94-01 integra" type of springs.

anybody know??

I think the rates for integras are slightly higher since they are for a heavier car. So Civic springs should sit lower than Integra springs (except Type R).

integra weighs more than a civic.... usually...

so the theory goes... if you use integra springs to support your civic, they will keep the car up higher... so in essence an integra lowering spring on a civic will keep the car higher.

coilovers like Ground Control are Da' Best option! and GC's are Soyboy approved
