Default Lowering Springs Dead Coils on the bottom or top?

I have lowering springs on my civic, do the dead coils go in the bottom or on top. Idk if i installed them upside down. One more question, the front springs do not have dead coils correct?

Not sure. But the back ones have dead coils which were placed in the top. So just wondering if put upside down?

Post a picture.
I don't think it's possible to put them in backwards. It will sit on the shock body wrong if you do.

Part of the spring will look like it's cut. That sits into the cut out part of the perch. Flat part agaisn't the top hat.
