Default lowered my civic but it sits up high in the rear

ok everyone i need some help here. i got some springs from a guy at work that he bought for his 91 integra. They are tcm springs. I don't know much about them but i wanted to see how the car would look lowered before i decide if i want to go with something better or not. plus i'm not even sure if i am going to keep the car or not. Anywho, the car sits nice in the front but still sit's up high in the rear and I don't know why, anyone else had this problem?

Well we thought the same thing thinking if we switched it then it would sit right so we did but it sits the same regardless. I'll get so
e pics tomorrow. As far as the spring settling he had them on his integra for a couple of months and his car sat low from the day he put them on till the day he took them off and that was about 2 and a half weeks ago

I figured it would have lowered it even a little but it didn't budge the back still has about a 2 inch gap or more. Those spring would have to settle a good 3 inches to match the front. Maybe even more

That's why we tried it both ways to make sure. The springs on the front are the smaller tighter springs. When we tried it with the smaller springs in the back it sat even higher so it's gotta be right.

Yes it was all done correctly. I work for A Honda dealership so we have all the proper equipment to work with and we checked the struts to make sure they were good too. Once we installed them we put some weight it the trunk to make sure everything wAs pivoting correctly thinking maybe that was the problem. But everything was moving as it should

He has a 91 integra he bought the springs for and I have A 94 civic coupe. Now I know and understand these are not a top quality springs and all but something isn't right. And this is why I wanted to see what would or could happen once I saw the car lowered before I try to decide what I want. His springs are designed to lowere 2 to 2.5 inches is what it says. In the front it did drop About 2.5 but the rear I saw maybe .25 of an inch drop

sometime it could be that the springs are not sitting on the bottom of the shock or top hat correctly. or sometime it could be a defective spring, i purchase some Tein s-type for mine ek and the front driver side was about an half an inch lower than the passenger side, it also made my rear right side higher like stock height. looked retarded.

springs aren't gonna settle 3 inches...

isn't the rear of the integra much heavier than the rear of the car the OP has?

get the right springs for the rear

yeah that is exactly what i said before we put them on, but everyone at honda kept saying "they will work don't worry" well now the car sits like a 4x4 in the back ha ha. I look like a street rod.

Holy crap, that's a big difference. Mine's got a little bit of rake, but nothing anywhere near that. I've heard of H&Rs sitting a little different on the corners, but that's waaaaay off.

^^^sounds like this^^^

I think your springs are not sitting on the spring perch right, or the tophat is not adjusted properly. Are you sure you have them clocked correctly on both ends? Do you have stock shocks? If not, do they have an adjustable spring perch? If so, you may have it on the wrong notch.
