Lower Spring Questions??
i have a 93 civic dx hatch.
i wanted to lower my car but not to much.
i want to know what best or work best with stock shock and etc.
i was thinkin about goin with TEIN S Tech Performance Spring or H&R Sport Spring..WHat do u guys think? i dont want a bouncy ride ..i like it to be like normal stock. oh yeah would it be good to used H&R RACE SPring on stock shock? im not sure it would work but maybe.
anyways i dont really drag race my car alot maybe 3 times a year at the track other than that its a daily car so that pretty much it.. hope u guys could help me out.
any other options feel feel to post it up. thanks. oh budget is $100-$250 for a set of lower springs.

Tein S Tech doesnt lower too much, H&R race springs drop a lot, not sure about the H&R sports, but im running Progress springs and tokico Illumina shocks and the ride is nice, but my shocks are starting to wear out so im getting body roll, only minor though. I would replace the shock while ur lowering it..will give you a better ride.

i have tech s's on my eg, and it sits really high.. with a 195-50-15, maybe 2" wheel gap.
i had to cut 1 coil off the rear, and 1.5 coil off the front to get a nice even "no wheel gap" look.

Re: (chile)
probably, lowers the spring rate i believe.....go with a small drop if your not planning on running a different shock otherwise youll blow the shock and get a REALLY crappy ride.

I have Tien S Tech's w/ stock shocks on my car. Gave the car about 1.5" drop. Ride is still like stock. It isn't bumpy or anything like that. It does seem like I have a better feel for the road, but that might just all be in my head.

the funny thing, i have tech s's on both of my cars, a eg hatch, and my 4 door gsr. and the gsr sits perfect.. the EG was on stilts!
i cut them, and honestly i can't tell a differance. tein springs get a from me.

Re: Lower Spring Questions?? (viet)
Thanks guys for all your info and replies. im guessin i'll go with Tein S since some said it sit just like stock. i dont really want it to low so if it like a 1inch drop or 1 1/2 drop then its good with me. thanks again .
