lol mine sounds way nicer than a WRX when it idles @ 500RPM. But i got a built turbo D. It just sounds like that at low RPM. Its either TPS, IACV or FITV. Unless you adjusted the idle screw lol. I had mine adjsuted because it used to idle high as ***** on the auto ECU (i converted it to manual). On the P28 it idles low as ***** lol. Built D Rumble > Boxer Rumble.

if u have no CEL then no. And unplugging the dizzy doesnt throw off your timing.

have you tried unplugging sensors as the car is running to see? unplug them one at a time (and only keep one unplugged at a time).

im not gonna change my plug wires cause i just paid $60.00 for new ngk last month, i will try adjusting the idle screw and unplugging my sensors 2moro after work, im just stumped because there is no check engine light on and all fluids are good, it ran perfect before this.

don't mess with that idle screw if it ran fine b4 you unplugged stuff then its deff not that. and your o2 sensor wouldn't do that if it was bad it would either throw a code or make it run rich depending on what is disabled in your tune. did you unplug things like your map sensor and tps for some reason?? they have the same plugs so if you mixed them up it would deff run like that. but it sounds to me like your firing order is messed up. or when you pulled your plug wires out of the head maybe the little clips in the wires that clip on to the spark plugs broke off. ive seen that a million times. usually it happens when there hot and you reaf on them to unplug them. cuz then it could just be running on 3 or less cylinders. id check that first then if that isn't it try the firing order. just don't go messing with **** you didn't mess with to begin with. hope that helps

this may sound dumb but you said you unplugged your dizzy if i remember right so do you mean the wires that go from the harness to the dizzy or the plug wires on the cap.

i unplugged my dizzy at the harness not the plug wires to the dist. cap , i only unplugged everything because i was trying to re route some wiring to look cleaner because some of the wiring was looped around each other

hmm that's weird. and yo say its not throwing a code. does your cel come on when you first turn the key. maybe the cel is blown. cuz if you pulled to hard on the wires that go from the dizzy to that harness maybe you pulled or broke a wire like the cylinder position sensor wire or something like that cuz that would do that too. i mean im kinda going out on a limb with the cel being blown but it does happen. Ive also seen some that it didn't make the cel come on but once you put the jumper in to check the codes it threw codes but only with the jumper in. idk why they do that sometimes but Ive seen that happen too. try that and let e know and if its none of those ill try to think of something else. im sure its something simple.
