Default low idle in cold weather

well i have a gsr swap and when i start my car up when its really cold it revs around 1000rpm then slowly goes up to 1500 rpm after a few mins.... i dont know whats causing this , but i believe its suppose to go from high rpm to lower

and could this be related to why my heat isn't hot on idle (when warmed up)

somethings i thought could be the problem was headgasket and/or alternator... but i have no idea if im even close to the problem.

if you need any other info , just ask
any ideas??
