low fuel light-EG
My fuel gauge is working properly but the "low fuel" light on my EG civic is not coming on. What could be the cause of this? (bulb, sender unit)

Re: low fuel light-EG (KayOs)
Is it a real eg6? I have a 92 cx and it dose not have a "low fuel" light.
I dont think that any 92-95 civics have low fuel lights.

Only console for EG's I know of that has a low fuel light is the EG6 JDM SiRII. Here is a link on how to install the light properly into your EG if you do have an SiR gauge cluster. http://students.washington.edu/krist...dm/lfi/LFI.htm

Re: low fuel light-EG (chainsaw)
I guess I am just one of those car owners that has to have everything working properly.
My car is a 95 civic EX 2 dr. coupe.
It's not a question if I have a low fuel light....I do have one, but the gauge reading is at "E" and the light is not coming on. My question is why isn't coming on.........

Re: low fuel light-EG (dwn-shift)
Took me a bit to realize I didnt have one. My fuel gauge isnt very accurate. Its all over the place, and with the tiny gas tank you have to be careful. Ive been on hte highway above the red and it will start missing. Thats my special fuel light.

Re: low fuel light-EG (White Lightnin)
I always wondered about this - I have a 00 CX and it does have a light BUT I've only seen it twice since I've owned her - even when less than 1.5 gallons left

Re: low fuel light-EG (KayOs)
93CX= No fuel light
93 4-Door LX Cluster = No fuel light.
I really don't need one. If I'm really low on fuel, my car loses all throttle response on sharp turns or clover leaf exits.
