loud coilover noise on 94 civic
I recently put Skunk 2 coilovers on my 94 civic and now I am getting a really weird noise. I have them dropped 2" on all four, and they seem to ride really good still with the factory struts. The problem that I am having is on the rear passenger side when I turn into my driveway or turn up into anything else when there is more weight applied to that rear side it makes a really loud popping noise when the weight starts to let up. It sounds almost like the spring is moving but ther is still weight on it. The other rear side and both of the fron sides don't. Has anybody else had this problem?

...when weight/compression is lifted off the spring and perch....the perch and spring flop around in there and will clunk..

I have the same problem. I put Neuspeed springs on my car 3 years ago and it has always made that sound but only on the right side. I just put new shocks on and I thought it would remedy the problem but it still does it. I wouldn't worry about it. There wasn't any damage when I took the spring off the assembly.

it happens with lowering springs(shorter springs) and coilover sleeve set-ups. Its not damaging anything. That clunk noise is the spring being seated back into place.
