has anyone ever heard of a lost motion assembly getting stuck, i think one of mine is stuck and is causing a tapping noise in the head??

any suggestions

sure thats not your valves? Pop off the valve cover and check it out. May want to do a valve adjustment too.

That message was posted by (NCHATCH) under my name on accident. Just a fyi, the valves have been adjusted. I've tinkered with this car myself, its not a rod knock, or a wrist pin type of sound. Its a very odd noise, and the local concensus from a couple of our friends was that it might be the lost motion assembly.
