ok i have a 94 civic gsr swap driven down the highway this morning and running about 70 mph and all of a sudden the motor rev's up so naturally i look at the shifter and move it but it was still in the 5th gear position so i tried to put it bac in gear and nothing so i put it in 4th and its fine and all the other gears work fine does any body have a clue .

Sounds like you either need to tear into the tranny and see what broke or just get another tranny.. Seems like some part of the fifth gear assembly is broken.

Maybe burn the gear cuz need oil that what happend on my old del sol wit gsr tranny too..but open it its easy i did mine i put 5gr from ls lol..
