Loping idle, need help, did all the usual checks.
Allright guys heres the situation.
I live in the DC area and it has recently been in the low 40's high 30's over night, and sometimes during the day here. 3 times since about a week ago my idle has loped after my car sitting for more than 5 hours, more than enough time to get cold.
for those that read this and dont know.... a loping idle is caused by a very lean condition, much more air than fuel.
i have done all the usual checks. first checked to make sure the TB wasnt stuck open a tad. then checked for vaccumm leaks, everything is fine. and its not bad fuel injectors because there is no loss in fuel mileage or power.
only thing left to see is if i have a bad IACV, which im not sure how to check.
ANY IDEAS?????
thanks,
vinchenzo
