since ur so set on 50's... go with 205 if you have a 6.5in or wider wheel.. if u got 15x6.0 then go with 195/55?

I'm hearing good things about the Falken Azenis too but it doesn't look like it's siped enough to be good in the wet. Anyone got any wet weather experience with these?

Bridgestone pole position so3s at http://www.tirerack.com for $76 a each. This is one of the best tires out there. It out performs almost every tire in wet and dry handling.

I'm thinking about putting the so3 on my new rims. If i do i'll let you know what they're like. The only consern with these tires is tread life. I asked a guy who had them "Dezoris" and he said i should be able to got 20k out of them.

sup KP: i'd get 205/50/15's and get either Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions, Dunlop SP9000, Bridgestone Potenza RE730, Summitomo HTR ZII, or Falken Azeni's...
these can all be found at http://www.tirerack.com if you (or your friends) have a Costco membership... you can get the tires from tirerack or wherever you find it cheapest.. and bring the tires to costco and they will mount it for you at like $7/tire or something...
the local tire shops wanted over $800 out the door for 4 dunlop SP9000's I got my SP9K's from tirerack for like $130/each a while back.. and had Costco mount them it was WAY cheaper to go this route than go pay a tire shop $800+ for the same tires and for the tire shop to mount them..

Tirerack.com is having a sale on Pirelli P700Z 195/50/15. Treadwear 140. VR speed rating and it only costs $45!!!! Cheapest damn tire i've seen for that kind of performance. It will end up costing about 55 or so dollars including shipping.
