Looking for a quiet exhaust.
If I get a Civic Si this week I'd like to eventually replace the exhaust but I want something that's truly street. I'm not looking for max power gains, but rather just a nice looking system without any excessive noise. Mainly I want the car to have a slightly more pronounced tone and good full throttle grunt, but without being really intrusive to anyone including my passengers.
I was looking into the APEXi WS Catback as it's claimed by APEXi to be what I'm looking for. However, I have no idea what their standard for quiet is; it still may be way too loud. Does anyone have any experience with this exhaust system on a B16A2 who could help me sort this out? Thanks.

Re: Looking for a quiet exhaust. (Hardedge)
the apexi WS2 will be your best bet for the quietest aftermarket exhaust that looks good and still performs for your money. it is waaaaay under the legal limit for noise and you will get nice gains in your low to mid rpm range. seems to be what your looking for. also get on you tube and search apexi world sport exhaust and youll be able to get sound samples.

I think a lot of ppl have very good things to say about the WS2. Not too loud, but sounds good on higher revs. There are a lot more, like the Greddy one (forget what it's called. SP something.) Someone help me out

Wow! Everyone just jumped right on top of my question. Thanks 93egB16A, I'll definately be checking those sound clips. And thank you Boost_V as well. Both very helpful.
