looking in buying some hyperformance ignition wires
i wanna buy some spark plugs wires, but i wanna know which ones throw out the most performance. i wanna know from people who have tried it, not technical graphs and ****. also what sparks plugs work best. i have a jdm h22a in my 92hb si. im in the process of getting better axles and hotshot headers.

i put a complete MSD ignition , including wires in my blower d coupe and didnt see a real huge advantage..but upgrading wires is a good thing to prevent radio static

NGK or OEM plug wires.as for plugs, just go with whatever copper NGK plug is called for-cheap and perform as good as anything else.

NGK is not OEM, and they are not better than OE Sumitomo wires.
There was a dyno sheet of an old-*** DA with a first-gen B16A that had the O.E crusty-*** Honda plug wires on it. The people dynoed the engine with the 10 year old Honda wires and then with brand new NGK blue wires and the engine made LESS power with the new NGKs than with the old-*** O.E Honda wires.
Also the spark wasn't as consistent and the power output was more jagged with the NGKs.
OE or nothing at all IMO.
If you don't have some huge air and fuel coming in from a HUGE all motor build or boosted build-up ignition upgrades are retarded. The stock Honda ignition can support any power you're putting down with bolt-ons and/or mild N/A or boost stuff.

save some money, and get the highest quality stuff-OEM or NGK wires and NGK plugs.....you may have felt a difference with that setup, but it was either the placebo effect or they really did make a difference over your old, worn out stuff it replaced.not really gaining new power, just regaining lost power.
