if it is a cable car go with a cable trans. i am assuming it is a hydro car in this forum, if you do a cable to hydro conversion, the pedal pressure is astronomical. plus, it is a little harder to find parts for the cable trans. stick with the hydro if the car is a hydro car.

I did a hydro-cable conversion and the pressure is not "astronimical" I would go with a hydro anyways becuase of the availablity of parts

i am not speaking for all the kits. the one we did had the pivot so close to the pivot on the throwout arm, the pedal was ridiculous. there may be better kits out there but the one that i did was really bad. i am not exaggerating.
