Looking for a 92-95 civic coupe.
Im interested in a 94 civic EX coupe. I was thinking I really dont want to worry about a motor swap right away, so I want something close to 45,000 miles. Although I would like maybe a little body damage(front or rear end) nothing to crazy. And no motor damage. How much do you guys think something like this would be? Cuz I've been looking around and no such luck. thanx

well, looking for a 94 with 45K is rare cuz usually that year should already have around 96K or more. Even with that amount of mileage, it is still good to run another 100K. my last civic went up to 174K before i sold it and it was still running strong. So just check up on the maintainence and everything should be ok.

Sorry, but there is no such thing a USDM 1992 Civic Coupe. Those were introduced in the 1993 Year Model, and you probably won't want one of those either because of the strange interior appointments. They have an animal print-like design on the seat bolsters, where the 1994-1995 have the nice plushy seats with the more tasteful stripes on the inserts.
Also, the 1993 EX Coupes had tan interior too, which looks kind of shiitty IMO.

Just stick with 1994-1995 and you will get the nicer interior, but you will also get the heavier dual airbags as well.
Also, ABS was an option on some EX coupes, so those will have 4-wheel disc brakes too!
Not tostart any , but why not just get a hatchback for a few grand less and drop a motor in it? Just curious, no offense intended at all. If you really like the coupe style then go for it, but if you're looking for the best bang for the buck, the a hatch is the way to go.

Hey mountaindru I am in the same shoe as you.... looking for a gen 5 coupe or 4Dr. Expect to see higher mileage though!! Good luck in your area as they are few and far apart down here.
B18C5-EH2 thanks for all of the good advice, I am new here and I've had some good info from your posts.

I don't know what B18C5-EH2 is talking about but my red 93 ex coupe has the black/charcoal interior and the same seats as the 94's and 95's, and no animal print crap. I've seen a white coupe, not sure about the year, but it had the ugly tan interior. My 93 has 130K and runs beautifully!

Are the bolsters on your '93 seats really plush and uniform, or are they sem-crusty and have a weird design on them? If they have the stipes and the really plush uniform bolsters, then someone swapped the seats for 1994-1995 ones.
I have worked for 2 Honda dealers and 1 Acura dealer - I try to pay attention to detail, and I've never seen the white or black 1993 EX coupes with grey interior.

OMG navin, lilabusta and haloseven, those are really low milage!! are they your daily drivers? i bought my coupe 4/8/95 with 17,8xx on it, and when i got my swap this past august, it was at 200,9xx. i'm at 214,4xx today... iow, i get around a little...
btw, my EX didn't come with ABS/rear disk. i've been told that the EXa's that have the ABS/rear disk only came with the auto tranny, hence the 'a' in EXa.

You were told wrong. The "a" in EXa stands for ABS. It was an option from the factory.

AznInvasion, it's a coupe, right? does it have a clear title and how is the body? did it also drive well before the swap? the reason im asking is because im going to buy an EG or EJ for ls/vtec and i wanted to know the prices in NE area.
