Look what I got 4 months ago!
Ok, got the PC and borrowed my moms camera so here it is.
1996 Civic DX hatchback
95,4xx(ish) miles (when purchased)
****: Forgot the brand tape player
Problems: torn boot, taillight leaks, small rock chips on paint, missing paint on spoiler from gas cap, spider webs all over the car
To seal the taillights, I bought GM ATV sealant. This does not glue them to the car. Remove the taillights and keep the seal on the back of the light. Make a 1/4" bead of ATV sealant over the indentation on the seal. Reinstall taillight, problem solved.
Since I'm getting a B series in the Spring, I went with SpeedI-Boots. To install, cut off old boot and clean CV joint, wrap SpeedI-Boot around axle, move over CV joint, and screw/clamp together. With some idiotic back road driving, they have held up and not come apart at the seam. Install time was about 2 hours in 34 degree weather, most of theat time spent waiting for the brake cleaner to dry from the CV joint. Great product on a stock car.
Bought through a dealership employee for $4,600 after taxes. Former owner was a girl, as told by the seller. She was looking into ADD and Depression as I found phamplets in the car about it. Her name was Misty, I found a Rice necklace with the name Misty on it. She had a brother as indicated by the Birthday for brother card left in the dash. She was a smoker by the ashes on the dash, but the smell is not present at all. I wish I could find out the history of it even thought its nothing special like an ITR.

Had Christmas presents to buy and another car to fix.
Almost have enough for a CTR 5-lug, Earls brake lines, Mazda Millenia wheels, and Falken Azenis tires.
I only make $400/month at my job so...yeah....
B16B w/ 89mm crank w/relocated pins for GSR R/S comes in Spring after I sell my wheels and other cars. Parts should start coming in pretty quickly though as my parents are giving me $300/month (payback for a big loan I gave them).

Nice hatch! Looks like yours is in a lot better shape than what I started with and my only had 73,xxx miles on it at the time. Oh and you just made me remember to fix my leaking taillights when I get my car back from the body shop hopefully by this friday, I almost forgot about those! Well have fun on your project, I know I am having a blast with my little hatch!

your car isn't going to stop any faster than a well built GSR setup. All you'll do is lock them up early....but whatever....you'll learn and then get pissed at yourself that you dropped 1200 on brakes and wheels when you could have the same stopping power, quicker final drive(running smaller rim/tire combo), and light suspension....but....your car

cuz im only 17 too
