Not that rare they just dont bring them over because you cant swap it in an auto car it just doesnt work.That tranny is just a paper weight you might be able to use it in an auto teg but thats about it.

what are you talking about? i have seen a few b16a swapped civics with automatics trannys, granted it may not be the coolest swap people do it. wow honda-tech = the misinformation super highway!

auto engines are said to be good because they are less likely to be beat on.. of course they probably endured non-stop city driving. so whatever

its 100 times easier to put a b series in a 5spd,
they dont even make mounts for an auto b motor in a auto civic....
let alone how are you going to controll the b16 auto tranny, auto d series are controlled completly different then a b series.

It's easy enough to put an automatic B-series into a '92-'95 Civic.
It is not as easy to put an automatic B-series into a USDM '96-'00 Civic. The transmission just doesn't fit so well in those cars. I hear it has something to do with the frame rail being in the way.
Overseas 6Gs with auto B-series probably have a different rail that allows it to fit.
And yes, there are automatic B-series Civic chassis in several different countries.

Does anybody have a link of an Auto B16 swap into an EG Auto? Crap I though buy an Auto would keep me from doing a swap LOL

btw I bought my H22a from them.. its kinda located near my city... Great customer service.. i even got them to take a few H22a's down with the pallet jack just so I can inspect them.. they didn't mind.. I got my h22a from them fro $650!
