Heat Shields for Aftermarket Headers???
GReddy turbo heat shields. Would they work for headers?

You guys both need help. They come with the GReddy turbo kit for 92-95 Civics. Do you notice the turbo related merchandise under the hood, or is this your first time seeing an engine bay?

It's accually a heat shield for the turbo manifold, that one in the pic is off a GReddy kit.

THat would be a Turbo manifold cover from Greddy. All their kits come with that.

Yes, I did notice the turbo, but didn't know what that heat shield was for. I thought it was for the header but I guess I was wrong.

I was browsing through the forums and found pictures of aftermarket heat shields on Civics with SOHC engines posted. People here say that there aren't any heat shields that will fit aftermarket headers, but it looks like they do exist. Does anybody know what kind of heat shields are in those cars and where I can buy them?

Well, when you have a turbo, a "header" is now called a "turbo manifold". So, the heat shield is used to deflect the excess heat generated from the turbo, and the "turbo manifold".
