96 civic mini me swap. my y7 block has no knock sensor so my p2p computer reads that as a code, but my redline is still stuck on 6000 rpm. once i install a knock sensor will this make the vtec work and change the redline. i was told that because i have a cam that my redline would be even higher even though it is a sohc. hop this make more since this car is pissing me the **** off please help.
