How was the pricing at Maaco for the quarter panel repair? Looking into that as well

Re: LiteraCola's Project Daily, Version 3.0: 98 DX Hatch
Slight update.
My plans to dip the Hatch have been put off AGAIN because of moving (and taking forever to close on the house I'm selling). ***SEPTIC ISSUES*** Everything is basically at a standstill until the house sells. I've just been driving the hatch with no issues to speak of. However, the AC compressor that was a ticking time bomb starting making so much noise (clutch bearing) that I had to remove the belt. During Black Friday, I jumped on a sale for Yonaka motor mounts in preparation for my inevitable B-swap. I went ahead and installed them yesterday and let me tell you... definitely do research before you install something like aftermarket mounts. I had no idea they would be so god damn stiff! I'm going to run them for a little while to see if they loosen up a little as they wear in, but I'll probably order a set of OEM mounts in the meantime. I didn't have much issue installing them, but the rear mount was kind of a bitch. I had to remove the bolts from the T-bracket and move the vapor canister out of the way to get the mount up and out of the car. I figure that's more of a "motor-out-of-the-car" job.
Speaking of B-swaps, I found a JDM B18B on HMO for $2200. It comes with motor/trans, axles, linkage, mounts, P75 ECU, everything needed. They claim their motors average between 40k and 60k miles, but I don't know if I believe all that noise. The one listed on their site looks really new, but it could just be a stock photo. The description says 93-01 Integra LS. I need to call them to make damn sure it's OBD2...The price is a little steep, but I'd rather pay the extra money for a swap with a warranty and paperwork than buy one from some rando who has been ragging on it. Nowadays, my piece of mind is worth quite a bit.

Running B-series mounts on a non-B setup? You’re a madman!

I didn’t pay that much for my J-swap...

Every JDM website ever. Lol but yeah, you want the warranty!

I got you guys beat. But that doesn't matter in this thread. stiff mounts are stiff. I know the hardrace mounts will be fine after its broken in.

I definitely should have done more research about the hardness of aftermarket mounts. The Black Friday temptation got me again. I went ahead and ordered a set of OEM mounts because I'm not going to be able to tolerate the vibration. Although.... it does feel a little more "race car-ish"...

Its for those hard launches...nothing further than that. When I had my em1 the hardrace mounts were stiff, got the 5 pack combo, but since it was my daily it started to break in and I didn't notice the vibrations as much.

I will say this though... Reading through all of these builds and flip project threads does make me want to get into another flip project....

Speaking of flip projects, my [step] brother in law (confusing, right?) is starting to drive soon and will need a car. I made the mistake of suggesting that I could buy a car and fix it up and then sell it to him. The kid took that as me saying I would buy him a car and we would work on it together "as a bonding experience"......? Um what?

b20 setup would still be fun. I don't know why some see it the opposite though. My em1 was hauling *** and passing traffic w/o even revving high.

Re: LiteraCola's Project Daily, Version 3.0: 98 DX Hatch
The only thing I can note was that I always looked for the high compression b20. Supposedly had PHK pistons and a PHK casting on the block. Should also have the big square resonator on the intake manifold but I swapped that out for an LS and re-did the vacuum lines.
