Default leaking fuel HELP! WOW

ummm so yesturday i was driving ...i pulled in a parking lot to talk to some friends turned the car off ....told me friend to come over and take a look at something under the hood(gasket leak) nothing major turned the car back on my friend reved it with the spindel thing. closed the hood as i was talking to them my friend says oh i can see it ...smoke was just pouring out under the hood i said well the oil woudlnt smoke like that let me see...i open the hood and theres fuel...dripping off the throttle body and around that area...injectors and fuel pressure reg n fuel rail....i quickly turn the car off b.c if i get a spark or backfire of any kind car was goin up....i cant turn it on cuz if theres some by the spark plugs ...ya u kno wuts gonna happen...what should i do its sitting in a parking lot and i cant turn it on..what could it be...thx. its a 94 civic dx with a b16 swap.

you dont have to start the car to see where the gas is coming from. get a friend with you, have your friend turn the ignition ON but not actully start the car. meanwhile you have a look to see where the gas is spraying from while the fuel pump is priming up and replace whatever is needed their.

I would look at the fuel line going from filter to fuel rail,injector o-rings,make sure the fuel rail is bolted down tight.

the same thing happen to my honda accord the other day. gas was all over the intake manifold. the o-ring for two of the fuel injector was bad, so i changed it and it wasn't leaking any more. hope that help.

well, we did do that when it first happened he told me to go turn on the fuel pump...its a walbro 255 so i knew when it was on lol...(loud) ...and it didnt spray at all when i did that.

god thats a pain then! try turning the ignition on and off fast so the fuel pump will continue priming, you might have a better chance of seen somthing. if that dosent work your just gona have too start the car too see. all the fuel that was on the engine should of evaperated by now

is it possible to hook your fuel pump up to a maybe a 12v source so it just stays on?
