Default Leak from header....need some ideas

Last night i installed the Jdm ITR header onto my b16b and now have a leak where the header bolts up to the engine...I replaced the gasket torgued to specs but still no go...any ideas how to get the leak to stop? would some sort of high temp gasket sealer work? Please help i hate having a car that sounds like a beefed up lawn mower.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B16b-EJ8 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">What happens if the manifold surface is not straight? am i fubar</TD></TR></TABLE>

then it would not mate up to the block properly forcing that leak to continue

Are you refering to the flange or the head for the surface being straight...? looks like im going back under the car again.

Yeah put a straight edge on the flange to see how true it is. I know they make that copper seal meant for stuff like that but I don't know how well it works.

I plan on doing that after work...where does one find the copper seal stuff you are refering to?
