LCA Bushing help!
ok first off my car is a 1995 honda del sol S model...
alright i got the energy suspension kit and I'm redoing the lower control arm bushings (shock/strut bushing), but I can't, because I can't get it pressed out. I have a question about that... Does the metal ring that is inside the hole (where the bushing goes) come out? Or is it supposed to? I have the old bushing out, but the new one doesn't fit. If that metal ring was out then it would.
if someone can just post a link or tell me how to get these bushings to fit i would really appreciate it.
oh this is the kit i ordered....

Re: LCA Bushing help!
Yes, the metal ring does need to come out.
Make a couple small cuts through it with a saw and then pound it out with a hammer. Make sure not to cut the arm.
Using a socket that fits on the ring may make it easier to pound out once cut.
