You can buff them out or what I do is get some rubbing compound and clean the outer lens then wax them.comes out looking real good.

Re: (EKDreamin)
I used some stuff that came in a small white bottle with a blue cap that i got at autozone
i think it was a plastic polish or something.. it worked fairly well.
I have heard rumors about using:
-toothpaste
-rc car gas
-peanut butter
but i have not tried any of those three

they have a little kit at pepboys! its like 7-12 buccs... it comes with assortment of high grit sandpaper depending on how bad the headlights are and plastic polisher stuff.

Re: (hatch96y7)
I used that meguairs plasticx stuff. Supposed to clean plastic and restore its clarity. It did make it a bit better, but along the top of each headlight (1996 Civic) there is still some kind of film, like dirt or something.

is the top of your headlight rough like the sun melted the plastic?</TD></TR></TABLE>
my headlight?
I don't think it is melted because if you scratch at it forever with your nail it will come off a bit. But I have too look at it more closely, I have a feeling fine sand paper might work on it.
