Koni Red SKS suspension package review
First post on a review of the Koni Red SKS Suspension Package.
These things are a bitch to install. I have installed springs on 8 series BMW's with spring rates high enough to give a person a full frontal lobatomy. These a worse. There is no way to get them in without a spring compressor and I can't find a spring compressor with catches that are small enough to fit in between the spring rungs. I can compress the springs but then when I put on the spring mount and let off the compressors they are trapped. They must be a quality spring but I may never know.
I am a little disappointed in the quality of the koni red shocks, the bottom spring perch is held by a small circlip that can be moved between 3 grooves to adjust ride heigth. Well I don't see the circlip lasting very long and when it goes the spring will pop off.
So far I don't see how this could old the Koni name.
