Koni adjustables
I know there are three settings on these shocks which will give you a different feel as far as stiffness goes. I have read a lot of posts about people having their koni's at different "perches". Are the different perches, just the different settings that you have, which you adjust with the little tool they give you, or is there a difference when you install them?
Sorry for the stupid question, just curious. Thanks in advance.

The perches adjust ride height. They have nothing to do with changing the characteristics of the shock dampering. You adjust the shock stiffness at the top of each shock where there are metal tabs that you can twist with a provided external ****.

YOu can adjust the ride hight my moving the c-clips to a hight or lower perch. Koni does not give you a tool to move the clip it's up to you to figure it out. I have neuspeed koni yellows and they have 5 perch settings. I've yet to move any of the c-clips. I'm thinking of droping the front down one perch.

Re: Koni adjustables (mantic6t9)
yeah i want to go a little lower...I have neuspeed race and koni yellows. Do you have to take the whole shock apart?....I guess this is what I get for not doing the lowering job myself this time.

Yes will have to take the load off the spring in order to adjust it. You may be able to use a spring compressor on the spring while it's still on the car but it would be difficult. I would just take the spring/shock assemble out as a whole and go from there, there's nothing to it. Since you have race springs there is no need for a spring compressor, at least i don't use one cause there is little pressure put on the upper shock mounting plate due to the short length of the springs. Good luck.
