Default Koni "yellow" with H & R race springs users

I'm considering this as my setup for my 92 vx hatch. For the people that have this setup I have a few questions.

- How is the ride? really bouncy? stiff? too harsh? (especially in a really light car.)
- Did it drop your car 2.5 inches?
- How would you compare this setup to the GC's

Also any comments on this setup or would be appreciated.

Current setup is stock shocks and springs. I'm all my previous setups have been tokico hp with tokicko springs. So this will be a huge change

TIA

From stock to this set up is gunna kick ur butt. But it is deff tight. I have the H&R's with koni's on my 92 si. When the koni's are on stiff, you just stick to the road. But i did notice i went from spinning/chirpin gears to wheel hop. For daily driving, if you keep the yellows on full soft, it isnt bad at all. Just be smart with ur tire size so you dont rub and it helps with bottoming out/ scraping etc.

I would deff recommend this set up as that i have it and i LOVE it!!! I wouldnt change my suspension for anything else. Just invest in a rear sway/tie bar and some bushings and your car will handle like a champ!!!

If you're looking for pics, look up under my user name. I have pics of my eg here somewhere.

Im on H&R sports, with koni's (I think the rates are similar)
I really like this setup a lot. The ride is firm, but not bad (my friend bitches, but he's a big fat girl)

the race and sport spring rates are very different... races are almost one of the stiffess springs out there.

i'm planning your set up myself. but in a del sol S. tell me how it drives when you're done

Hey man.. I may have a good setup for you up for grabs soon. They are still on my car but i'm planning on stripping parts off once the weather clears.

What i have are Neuspeed Koni Yellows and Neuspeed race springs. The Neuspeed konis have more spring perches alowing you more adjustablity in ride hights as well as shorter piston shafts for better performace on lowered cars.

Few pics of what my car looks like with this set up. I can still go .5in lower in rear and front but that's too low be be driveable around here.

That's the diff. I don't know what else you're asking? From what I understand these are pretty rare these days. I know you could find and buy them a few years back. Don't know about now. I've been out of the scene for a while.
