Default knocking !!!

Have a 94 honda civic was a d series and just did conversion to b series replaced lca, hubs, cvs and shift linkages. When you drive about 15/20 kms per hour coming from the front passenger side under the floor pan is a knocking noise that sounds like a flat spot in the wheel checked wheels and they are fine everything that is obvious has been replaced with new parts. Still knocking any ideas on what it could be if the cvs hubs and lcas have been replaced???

Does it make it ONLY while going in a straight line, or ONLY/ALSO while turning (dir?)

Does it make a noise when you have the wheel off the ground? and spinning tire (in neutral)

also, your last sentance, "Still knocking any ideas on what it could be if the cvs hubs and lcas have been replaced???" is confusing. was it knocking BEFORE you replaced all those parts or ONLY AFTER?

Also, Brake work done?

Was knocking before i replaced all those parts. Replaced those parts to try fix the knocking. And it does it kn a straight line and turning. Had the car jacked up turned the wheels nothing visible that could be the cause tried moving the wheel but is tight on. Everything been replaced so cant see what could be doing it. Suspension is fine wheel barrings fine cvs new linkages new steering rack new.

hear anything when you SPIN the wheels in the air?

See any spots where the tire might be rubbing on the wheelwells?

Do a 12-6 and a 3-9 tug each way back n forth 10x ea. and feel any play?

Also bigger set of breaks put on and when tire off ground in neutral spinning does not make a noise or any clues as to what it could be. Been over the car and rechecked everything was tight on properly and still cant find anything.

No play, no rubbing or hitting and no noise when the car lifted only when driving on ground only gotten the car to like 30 kms an hour doesnt matter if you go straight or turn and in every gear it does it.

Does it under transmission load in gear and power and/or in neutral while coasting?

Did it make noise with the D too, or only under the B?

Maybe brake dust plates hitting something under load?

I dont want to guess, but I can't find anything like this in the FSM.

Going to have to pass you on to the next level support, sorry.

Good luck!

The gurus will take a look I'm sure.

I'm afraid its in the trans, if it was post swap, AND post new parts. But I don't want to commit to that of course.

Check back in a few hrs to get ppl time to wake up etc

Oh wait.. is the rear mount on correctly? (i got nuthin)

ALSO, double check the brakes again. Dust shields, futz on the rotors, etc.. Were they done with B swap, or later?

All these things are clues, so maybe tell us everything. Did you get the correctly modified mount for the trans? etc...
