Default knock sensor code help??????????????????????????????????????????

i am throweing a knock sensor code but im stilll hiting vtec wht the expletive is up with that and im also havea code 2 witch is o2 should i change it and my ks is starting to freak me out cuz im suffing massive power loss on my b16a so im not driving it

I've always been under the impression that throwing a knock sensor code will put your fuel and ignition curves in safe mode meaning (no performance) I am pretty sure you would still be able to hit vtec but if you are detonating you might want to find out why and correct it before you have to replace a bearing and or con rod.

it retards your timing when you throw a knock sensor code. get a chipped p28 and eliminate the knock sensor so you dont throw the code anymore

i have a stock b16a with a pw0 ecu and a p28 wont work with the obd0 motor unless i get the harness witch i have and the ecu is a piece of **** i hate that program i blow to much **** up with it so should i just have it replaced or chiup the pw0 ecu

Hrm why don't you actually try to find out if the knock sensor is actually DOING it's job and detecting knock?
