so ive had these fogs for a yr now and all of the sudden a couple days ago they started flickering and now they are completley dead the bulbs were just replaced less than a month ago and they are hooked up straight to the fuse box so idk wtf it can be i was going to pull out the harness and check but first i wanted to make sure the switch lights up when i press it so idk..

so i took out the harness and looked at the relay and when i unplugged it both the relay and the plug have corrosion rust on them could this be the problem?

That could be the problem as that will cause a bad connection. Clean off all the rust, I used sandpaper and some CLR. If it is not corrosion, test all connections with a volt meter. My relay shorted out two weeks ago but it was an easy fix, $4 relay from autozone. If all else fails, check the wiring too, bulb connections, etc. Best to pull it all out and tidy EVERYTHING up

yeah i couldnt find a relay anywhere but NAPA and that relay cost me 32 dollars Fing insane but fog lights work problem solved thread can be closed
