Default Kind of a noob question, but I'm going to ask it anyway!

So I'm just kinda getting into the whole Honda game (I know a few things here and there). I was just curious if I could take the head from a VTEC D16 single cam and drop it on my non-VTEC D16 and if it would make it VTEC. Or is there alot more to it, like switching the ECU or anything else. Thanks guys.

Sweet thanks! I was thinking of doing an LS/GSR swap soon anyway, so if its a bit of trouble I'll just hold off till I do the B18 swap.

if you are planning on doing a b-series swap then save your money and don't do the mini-me.

what he said. b series is a better platform while a d series is pretty much limited to forced induction to make power.

The real bonus to forced induction on a d is if you blow it up they are cheep as hell to buy

Thanks for the replies fellas. I've been doing some reading on this "mini-me" looks intresting. Thinking about doing that for now until the motor goes south then doing a B-series swap. The mini-me looks like it would be fun to do from what I have been reading.
