It's called Project Delta.

Scroll towards the bottom, or search for "skunk." Said it made 9.8 second passes.

ahh but u 4got to mention.. its allso a TUBE frame car...
every bit of $$ was spend on making it light - weight... as well as making it fast...
so im sure.. its not just your standard k24/k20 swap.... :: u can already see tha ITB .. how much more work do ut hink tha engine has done to it.. to even think of achieving tha 8.7 slot that u speak of...
==========
most car guys on here.. dont have a limitless budget, & Sponsorship backing.. to support tha amount of $$ it woudl cost to build any motor close to that....
=
valid point made.. they(skunk2) do have a powerful car equiped w/ a k24/k20 swap....
but just because some company spent a fortune on race car... isnt gion to make me choose 1 engien over the other...
im looking for real world advice.. from some1 who lives check-to-check, isnt handed a sponsorship, stresses over wrecking it @ tha track..... knowing its goin to take a while to re-build.
Skunk2 although a great company... doesnt have those issues...
u see tha development shop... thats more tools then ill ever own.. tha LIFT alone is more then ill have.... for a LONG LONG time....
=======
Now :::: can i please have some feedback from some1 who lives check-t0-check, & actually deals w/ tha struggle of life when your car is yoru life... & it seems like your always broke.
heheha - thanks

I love my 2.4L 1992 Civic DX with type s head, type r cams and tsx block with type r tranny and 2006 CIvic Si manifold with type r TB, mounted with karcepts adaptor and using hondata K pro

I'll make the assumption that goes with most increased displacement engines:
K24 = more tq but less revs and more wear & tear
Probably more fun for daily driving & passing power but might be less durable for track use

actually it is the opposite...
you are making the same power 2.0L make at 8500 rpm//but you are making that power at 7200 rpm.... so the motor is working less.. so will last longer
I sold 2 tsx motors to this canadian track team, last year
and they are looking for 2 more... they asked a few day ago... so I asked them back how are the motors doing and they replied
"1 engine is in the race car , the other one is the back up. Since we had good results last year, we are getting a lot of demand for that setup. Even had good offers for the backup engine but we don't want to sell it."

Wow your K swap looks magical in that picture.
Personally I prefer the K24 but that's because I have little intention of tracking my car. The torque is far more useful for daily driving purposes. The k20/k24 though will probably satisfy you for a long time...and it better cause that's probably the best set up for an ek.

Re: (Nevaeh Speed)
I am running a type r tranny so in order to finish the 1/4 mile I would have to shift into 5th, so I am not going to worry about it for now.. I also have a type s tranny, that I will use for drag racing.. The type r tranny has a very close gear ration that is cool for daily driving...
