You know, I've thought about this a lot... I think the K20 is butt fugly. The first vehicle it came out in was the Honda Stream mini-van, and it looks like a friggin' Cummins diesel sitting in a CiViC. Add to this the fact it's only 2000cc/121 cu.in... I'll take a H22A any day!

WOW thats a bold statement? are you talking because of the price for getting a K20 in a EK (10000-12000 for whole swap). or are you saying because the H22 is a better motor?

Man, this swap just looks like a nightmare to do with the custom mounts, I am sure custom header. Well it's a VTEC 2.0 drop in alright. Personally, I will take the B from the two. Much more after market support as of now.

Two things I love about the K is the fact that it's a factory 6spd and also the intake manny is in front of the motor and not behind, that takes the heat away from the intake manny.

I'm saying the K20 is ugly, especially when it's crammed in a CiViC engine bay, and what do you have when you're done? A CiViC with a 2.0L minivan motor.

HAHAHA dude you do know that the K20A come stock in the RSX type R in japan right?

a minivan motor damn you must not know much about the motor.

like with bolt ons and tuning the car can make abot 242 to the wheels.

yea mini van motor alright

I dont see what your saying, you see u spend like 1/5 on an h22a and put the 7 grand into valvtrain and raise compression, u still have $$$ for suspension... so yea swap your 10-12g motor, we will see u on the track...

If money were no object then I'd take a K20 ITR motor over an H22A all day, every day.

Why?

1. The K20 weighs less than a B18C5.
2. The K20 has a 6-speed gearbox with LSD
3. The K20 dynoed like 196whp stock whereas the H22A might be lucky to dyno 165whp stock
4. The aftermarket will end up being way stronger for the K motors
5. Who gives a **** how an engine looks? That's retarded.

Oh and lastly here's a great reason for the K20 - potential:

Did anyone see the Hytech K20A2 at the SEMA show? Here's their list of mods:

12:1 CR
Carillo rods
Wiseco Pistons
ENDYN/Fakedyn cylinder head (imagine a Portflow on there!)
Hytech roller cams
Hytech valvesprings
Hytech ti-retainers
Hytech modded intake manifold
Hytech exhaust manifold
Hondata tuned ECU

Their horsepower claims?

320hp at 10,000rpm with 220ft/lbs. of toruw measured at the flywheel.
