sorry if this is in the wrong spot. why bother buying a skunk 2 battery tiedown when i can make one for free the way i want it lol, just thought id share some pics, i thought it was neat. got bored one day so i just started messin around on autocad and then laser cut it at work out of 1/4" aluminum

thanks! ya its nice to work at a cnc shop lol make nice parts for dirt cheap if not in my case free compared to paying like $40 or whatever it is for a skunk 2 one lol

So what could you sell them for and still make it worth it to you? You may have a little side income there, if you can beat out some of the other manufacturers on price. Nice piece though.

well it wouldnt cost much to make more, I would just have to pay for the material, as I cut them myself, I would just have to modify it to what you want it to say on there or if any saying at all, could even have it powdercoated if there is no etching, if i were to think about selling some i would have to see what it costs for material.

you may have just found a new career and might make a living off something that simple. thats sick man. thats clean, subtle but eye catching. i would feel out how much it cost to produce and how much you can sell them for if you want. just lowball all the competitors

i would but the car is tarped and in storage already, gonna have to wait till spring, Although I did make a few more tonight, 2 out of 1/8 alum, still strong and should do the job, and 3 out of 12ga #4 Stainless steel(the shiny stuff). I will post some pics tomorrow of those, feel free to pm if you want one.

lol i dont know how far a business would go just selling these, id have to think of more parts to make too lol im sure i could make some badass tow hooks too lol and maybe some trim bezels or something
