just rear ended some wagon! (long)
ugg i was driving in thick traffic and as i was shifting into first (already moving) this dude in front of me SLAMS on the ******* breaks because someone cut in front of him 
so i hit his rear bumper BANG! i was going like 3-4mph only though so no bigge just scratches.
HE HAD NO BRAKE-LIGHTS
but he didn't even really need to hit the brake! he had plenty of room!
So i'm kinda pissed because this guy can't drive for **** and i get outta my car and take a look, just some scratches on my already bad front bumper and his bumper was already hit in like 3 other places.
SO i go right up to the older guy (like in his 50's or 60's i have no idea what country he was from...) and say "Why did you slam on your brakes, you had plenty of room" in a calm but firm voice. He starts to stutter and say to me in broken english "I wasn't looking ahead, i was distracted... i'm sorry it was my fault, i need a new bumper anyway"
So i was like, "Well what the **** distracted you so much to cause you to slam on your breaks in heavy traffic!"
and this is what he says, "I'm sorry it's your girl friend she is so beautiful and i was looking at her in my mirror"
A little shocked and ego boosted i say "well you know we are just on our way to dinner... listen the damage is nothing my bumper's paint is bad anyway and yours is almost falling off, lets just forget about this so i can take my poor girl out to dinner"
we shake hands and leave.
This was the first time i've ever hit or been it by a car while driving a car. (i got hit on a motorcycle once ) sucked. Could have been worse, if he wanted to and if i was a little less intimidating to him he could have blamed it on me even though it was clearly his fault... but the law automatically assumes sometimes that the person behind the car is responsible
oh well, Dinner was awsome and all his paint came of my car leaving only some little marks not worse than the excessive rock chips peeling clear coat... just took a little polish and wax to it with the help of an orbital buffer.
still sucked though. my girlfriend didn't know how to feel...happy and upset i guess lol
