I really have no background knowledge on cars. I have quite a bit smarts for computers though. I want to learn about honda cars and i figured this would be a perfect car for me. Everyone says its easy to learn so here i go.

Congrats, on your new car. I suggest you start replacing suspension bushings, because i really doubt the previous owner correctly lowered that del sol. I wish i had your motor. You have a car to learn on, but the Del sol is kinda like the red headed step child of the civic line. Theres nothing wrong with it, its just a little different. I hope you enjoy your new Honda, and seriously start replacing your suspension bushings.

i am just trying to replace the front ones. I dont want ot spend more then 300. 200 would be nice range though. could i get Eibach Pro-Dampers? but yah i rather not spend that much enless there is a whole strut/shock kit for 300... but i just want to replace the front right side. thats the only one i need to replace.

Its hard for one person to tell you which suspension components to go with because everyone has there own opinion. Alot of people on here go with Koni Yellow's (for shocks) because they have a great reputation, and are actually adjustable. The shocks you went with "Tokico Blues" are what I have on my Del Sol, but it's at stock height. The Tokico blues (In my opinion) are good for stock replacement, but alot of people will say that you can lower your car on them without any problems. Again, for some people it has worked, for me, in Maine, the roads are terrible, and I don't want to take a chance that I might accidentally hit a pot hole and get into and accident because something in my suspension went wrong, when it could have been prevented. But either way, you'll be alright with those for a while.

As far as bushings go, the kit you found is the one I was going to recommend. ES has a great reputation for their bushings.

And once again, Shocks/Struts... same thing.

Also, get yourself a Haines guide for your Del sol. And don't forget to search.
