Just picked up a em1!!!
Well its been few years since I have messed with a honda. Wont bore you with the ugly details of why I stepped away..But will say its nice to be back..All the excitement, enjoyment that I had before is back and more. Haha!
Anyway here is my 99 em1 with 82k on it that I just purchased. For a reasonable decent deal well I believe! Does have some things on it that need to come off that arn't up to my likings..But am researching and making my list of priority purchases..
1st. get rid of junk noisy exhaust
2nd. paint front bumper, buff whole car, reclear coat cf hood, change headlights and find a si lip
3rd. change out suspension..Looking at Tein flex or super street or skunk..any other recommendations would be appreciatted
4th. some Enkie RPF1's in silver 15's or 16's not sure yet leaning towards the 15's
More instore for car but these are my first issues!!

Cant wait to see what you do with it. Looks like previous owner had some issues with parts choices. 15" RPF1 ftw. Only 10lbs and tons of good tires.

For suspension im a huge fan of omnipower full street coils. I have a set on my car with 10k front and 8k rear spring rates. rides nice, kinda stiff, but they came with a 2 year "no sag" guarentee which was a huge selling point for me.
IMO cant beat the price, the quality and reputation these puppies have. More then 5 of my buddies are running them on 10 sec cars.

I meant to put this link up yesterday but these are the coils in running. I have had them since november of 07 and they still look, perform and ride like the first day i installed them. They easily have 60k+ miles on them.

If i were you, i would 1) definately go with a 16inch wheel 2) get a genuine si lip and 3) suspension wise, if you have $900 i'd go to thmotorsports and get the GC/Koni with two tophats up front.
Weksos is also running a deal for Function & Form coilovers with free LCAs. type 1s are only $630 and theres a lot of people using them.
