Just picked up a 96 hatch!! 1st Honda for me.
Since there isn't a into section I canb find I figured I should post up an into.
My name is Ricky. I am from Van Buren Arkansas. I have a 96 Hatch. I do a lot of fabrication. Mostly air ride suspension, and body work.
Car has been stripped bare inside except 2 seats and a dash. Susenson is Skunk 2 arms, coil overs, rear upper and lower tie bars, and front and rear sway bars. No motor mods except a drop in filter, and I believe the trans came out of an SI from what the guy said. It has the D16y7 motor.
I have plans to clean up the body and respray the outside, as well as add back in some carpet and a headliner, with the interior trim pieces from the door posts forward. Then possibky spray line the rear area to kill some noise since I am daily driving this car for now.
I hope to find a lot of info on here.

Well it probably doesnt have an si transmission (from your body style) if it still has the stock engine.
The suspension sounds real nice though. must have been someones track/autox car.

Is there a place to look to get the code off the tranny? The suspension is a bit much for daily driving, but it is fun.
This is the same body style up to 2000 I belive. Its just a non vtec model.
