just installed new spark plugs, but engine light turns on?????

ok, my friend just installed new spark plugs into his car yesterday...then earlier today at school, he was telling me that now, when he turns on his car, the "check engine" light turns on...so i'm guessing it happend ever since he installed the new spark plugs...what could be causing this?

Probably some installation error. What kind of spark plugs are they?

Check the code and see what it is.

they are APC...lol, yea i know, i told him...but he didn't kare, he just needed new ones, cuz his old ones were too old...and how would i go upon "checking the code"??

Oh man. He installs APC products and he wonders why the CEL comes on.

Yeah uh huh......

lol.

You grab the service connector from the passenger kick panel, grab a metal or copper wire, bend it into a U shape, and jump the two pin connector. Put the car in the ON position, and count the CEL.

One short blink = 1
One long blink = 10.
